What is TUNDRA Evaporative Aircon?

TUNDRA Evaporative Aircon is a cooling system using the Evaporative Cooling Method. It is a EUROPEAN TECHNOLOGY that is now widely used in many parts of the world. TUNDRA uses NATURAL RENEWABLE ENERGY (Air & Water), NO FREON, NO CONDENSER; it only uses Air and Water which passes thru a COOLING PAD.

PRINCIPLE OF TEMPERATURE LOWERING:

It cools by means of pumping pressured air with water into the cooling pad (FINLAND technology) producing COMFORT COOLING to a room. Temperature reduction is between 3ºC to 8ºC depending on outside temperature and humidity.

In 1970’s, AIRCONDITIONER came to replace the EVAPORATIVE COOLING SYSTEM especially in the equatorial and tropical countries because of its higher cooling temperature. Recently, due to high electricity bill and harmful effect of Freon, one of the main causes of GLOBAL WARMING and the storage of fossil fuel, PETROLEUM, EVAPORATIVE COOLING SYSTEM came in as a replacement and alternative solution to this problem.

ADVANTAGES OF USING EVAPORATIVE AIRCON:

• The electrical consumption is only around 15% to 20% compared to the traditional aircon, or gives you a savings of more than 80%.
• By applying the Tandem method or use together with aircon, it will still maintain the coolness like using totally traditional aircon and still gives you a savings of 25%-40% in your aircon bill.
• It can reduce the temperature to a maximum of 4ºC to 6ºC compared to outside temperature
• Clean, cool and fresh air is introduced, old air out, doesn’t use Recirculated Air
• No harmful CFC’s
